I've just built a module using your ModelAdapter, and it's working perfectly. This really saves you the hassle of creating all that DataProvider code. Great work!

This work overcomes what is in my opinion a serious design flaw in the LINQ-SQL implementation. That is the ability to use existing tools, such as sqlmetal, to obtain a base schema representation and then adjust it dynamically. For instance, querying the SQL sys.default_constraints, I can now set those table members ColumnAttributes to IsDbGenerated and not worry setting defaults in code.

This works like a charm. I used to manually replace the database owner in the dbml XML file before going to the production server. Really wasn't the most comfortable way. This adapter spares me the string replacements and is just what I was looking for! It couldn't be easier to use. Thanks!
